The Breeders
The Lusitano Collection� is a trademark
established by the most important Lusitano horse breeders in
Brazil. In 2009 and 2010 The Lusitano Collection� was presented
for sale in Florida at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Park in
Wellington in February.
In 2008 The Lusitano Collection� made its debut
in the United States at a highly successful auction during the
period of Florida�s world-renowned Winter Equestrian Festival.
It was the first time that such a collection of Lusitanos had
been sold on US soil and gave clients the advantage of acquiring
horses that cannot be found elsewhere in the world without the
necessity of importing them either from Portugal or Brazil.

 Interagro Lusitanos
Founded in Itapira, Brazil in 1975 by Paulo
Gavi�o Gonzaga, Interagro is the largest breeder and exporter of
Lusitano horses in the world. Interagro�s first successful
project was to recuperate all the basic Lusitano lineages, which
were, some of them, in danger of extinction after the Portuguese
Revolution of 1974. Concomitantly, the Interagro bloodline was
built out of the precious genetic material initially acquired.
Interagro horses have won all the Brazilian championships and
titles and today Interagro has horses of its breeding competing
in four continents. Interagro breeds horses especially selected
for the most important sport disciplines, particularly for

Vouga
Founded in 1994 by Manuel Tavares de Almeida
Filho in Itu, Coudelaria Rocas do Vouga is one of the most
important breeders of Lusitano horses in Brazil. Although the
youngest of the group, Rocas do Vouga, by the quality of its
animals and their performance in competition, has already
obtained an enviable international renown, being ranked among
