About Agiota:
Agiota Interagro is a kind, willing
and eager-to-please muscular horse who is a pleasure to ride. Given his
free shoulder and a lot of reach in his trot, he maintains a very correct
rhythm and has a natural sense of tempo which makes him very comfortable
to ride and sit. Agiota can become strong in the contact if he is not
ridden in the correct balance. Because Agiota finds pushing power from the
hind legs so easy, he needs to be reminded through correct half halts how
to maintain his carrying power. When he is in correct balance he will more
easily stay light in the bridle. He shows a great reach and overstep of
the hind leg in the walk which foretells plenty of ability for trot
extension in his future. Tracking up comes easily to the stallion. His
canter is big and elastic. The last son of Yacht (SA),a very important
member of Interagro's breeding program who has produced many prestigious
offspring, Agiota is another wonderful example of trustworthy character,
big bone and superb athletic ability. This rhythmic horse has the right
attitude for an amateur: calm, forward and happy in his work. Please note
that his rider on the DVD is over six feet tall, thus Agiota Interagro can
easily carry a large rider because of his powerful build.
