Dam:
Queen Interagro
Byron’s dam, Queen Interagro [Danúbio (MV) x Cigana (MLC)], is among the
top ten Interagro brood mares. Being a son of the fantastic Danúbio (MV),
probably the best Lusitano stallion of modern times, and Cigana (MLC) the
most important of all founding mares of the Interagro Lineage, Byron comes
with an extraordinary pedigree. Quixote and Queen Interagro are both by
Danúbio (MV) which gives Byron the most desirable and difficult, if not
impossible to find, consanguinity on this top stallion. Attalus Interagro,
a full brother of Byron, is one of the most important young stallions
serving at Interagro. If we didn’t have Attalus, we would not sell Byron.
The bios of Quixote, Queen, Cigana and Danúbio can be found in the book,
“The Lusitano Horse – Basic Lineages” or on our Website
www.lusitano-interagro.com which dispenses more complete commentaries. We
stress with absolute certainty that Byron Interagro is an unique
opportunity for the acquisition of one of the best pedigrees in the world.
To obtain a very pure, consanguineous horse like Byron takes a tremendous
amount of time to develop. Queen Interagro has, at this date, an Interagro
Progeny of seven extraordinary individuals, including Vadico and
Xenócrates, both now in the U.S. Queen Interagro’s eldest and only
daughter, Ustica Interagro, already bred, is the mother of Appiano
Interagro, who sold in the 2009 Collection®. No breeder can let this
opportunity pass by!

Trainer’s opinion: Byron Interagro possesses the physical qualities that competitive
dressage riders seek and a pedigree that makes him valuable to a breeder.
Late to mature, thus one of the last in his generation to start, Byron
Interagro is already demonstrating cadence, balance and the ability to
lengthen and shorten stride with light, graceful elasticity. Eager to
learn and very sensitive to his rider’s aids, this willing stallion is a
pleasure to train. His half brother, Xenócrates Interagro, was one of the
highest-bid horses from the 2009 Collection®, and his full brother, Vadico
Interagro, who sold in the 2006 Collection®, has achieved a successful
dressage career in the U.S. Attalus Interagro, Byron Interagro’s full
brother will remain at Interagro as a future breeding stallion. Byron
Interagro has it all; temperament, quality, gaits, and bloodlines. This
amazing stallion is sure to impress the most knowledgeable of Lusitano
breeders.
