After three years, this pair of horses is
showing tremendous promise through continuous training. They have a
proper work ethic coupled with the style, grace and spirit passed down by
their renowned paternal grandfather, “Xique Xique.” Their gaits are
wonderful, and lengthening is quickly given at the opening of the fingers. Because
these horses are half brothers on their father’s side, they have a true
affinity and understanding for one other regarding the work presented to
them; they compliment one other. As individuals, Vivo and Vaidoso are kind
and pleasant mannered. In a field where the Lusitano has excelled on the
international level, these two horses have demonstrated that they possess
the ability to be genuine competitors in the world of driving. Now that
the major part of their training has been completed, they are prepared to
enter the competitive world. They would also be appropriate personal
driving horses for someone who desires a relaxing alternative to the
pressures of the modern world and share a fulfilling experience with
others in their carriage.
These two lovely horses have been driven across country
and in traffic. They are an exemplary representation of the Lusitano in a
discipline that has for centuries demanded a multi-talented, dependable
and honest horse.
