The Mito Lusitano Stud Farm offers their first product on sale- this beautiful young bay mare, Xara do Mito.

Xara brings in her genetics the noble blood of Veiga, which serves as a breeding basis for someone who is looking for natural ability; beauty; and performance.  Her grandsire, Danubio III is the sire of Oceano- the exceptional dressage horse and Grand Champion of the 25th Lusitano International Exhibition in May 2006.

Xara´s sire Incrivel was a favorite of the famous rider João Lopes Aleixo, because of his performance ability and beauty.  Incrivel is owned by the Nuncio Stud Farm in Portugal.  The Veiga Stud Farm decided to use this horse as a sire for many of their mares, with great success. 

Xara is in foal by the beautiful isabel-colored sport horse sire Quartzo, from the breeder Arsenio Raposo Cordeiro.  Quartzo´s sire is Jaguar by Danubio III and is out of Saloia II, by Nilo.  Therefore the offspring will be product of inbreeding of Danubio III. 

Quartzo has proven himself as a sire that produces large offspring with sport horse conformation.

The new owner of this mare will not only have the benefit of a beautiful, athletic, pure Veiga mare; but also an outstanding sports type foal.
