Sweet, big bay young horse with
three white socks. Very special because of his disposition,
size and nice withers. The excellent an uncommon pedigree,
which cannot be found anywhere else, makes this young
horse a serious candidate to become a top breeding
                      stallion.
                      Approved as
a Stallion by the ABPSL – Associação Brasileira do Puro
                      Sangue Lusitano.

                      Sire:

                      Quínio Interagro

Dam: Odalisca (RC), her mother Fidalga (CFR) and
other brood mares from the Arsênio Raposo Cordeiro Stud in
Portugal, were imported not only because of their
individual merits but also to reinforce the introduction
of the bloodlines selected to form the Interagro lineage.
In this respect what is very special with Odalisca (RC)
and this group of (RC) mares is her maternal great-grand
mother, Guerrita (MV), the mother of the very famous
Novilheiro (MV). Using the offspring of both, Novilheiro
(MV) and his mother Guerrita (MV), and the resulting
consanguinity, we were able to introduce some of the most
desired functional characteristics in the Interagro
                      Lineage (IL).

Dam’s Interagro Progeny: Vistosa, (08/17/01) and
Afinada (11/06/04) both with Quilate Interagro; Zaragoza
(09/28/03) and Brilhante (11/19/05), both with Profano
Interagro; Corsário (11/27/06) and Xisto with Quinio
                      Interagro.
                      Trainer's
Opinion: This tall elegant bay stallion is
very special because of his attitude and kind nature.
Xisto is a lovely to ride. His body type and correct
withers help give his rider a lovely secure place to sit.
Xisto is light and elegant in his appearance and the feel
he provides his rider. His large balanced canter is a huge
asset. Xisto’s trot and walk get better and better
everyday.  We started him with the possibility of
presenting him in the 2006 Collection.  At that time he
was so tall and immature it would be hard to show his
quality.  It is exciting to see that we made the right
decision and even more exciting to think of how much more
this horse will fill out in his physique and learn in his
training in the next few years. He is a big horse with a
very loveable personality.  He will need a quiet calm
light natured rider to reach his full potential. He is a
well behaved stallion at this time with little stallion
behavior.  He loves to work and tries very hard to please.
He was kicked by another young horse, not causing him an
injury, but it has taken time to regain his confidence
around the other stallions in the arena.  His fear is
almost completely gone, but in the canter he will get
nervous if he feels boxed in by other stallions.  This is
an extremely special horse that all riders and grooms that
have worked with Xisto can not think of one negative thing
to say, they all express admiration for him. He is brave
and not spooky unless he feels threatened by another horse.
Xisto could be a good match for a taller rider who likes a
light sensitive horse and enjoys a forward feeling.  But
also will suit a shorter rider because he will give any
rider a lovely place to sit.
