Dam: Orquesta (MV) from the Manuel Veiga Stud in Portugal, is a daughter of Danúbio (MV) one of the most important stallions of the Lusitano breed. Orquestra (MV) was imported with the objective of to reinforce the IBM and has been giving a very important contribution in our breeding program.

Trainer's Opinion: When you first see Xotogan you will think we measured him wrong.  He looks much bigger than 16 hands.  Johnny, his current trainer, riding him in the DVD is over 6 feet tall.  This horse is handsome, with super bone and stature.  His beautiful head and well set arched neck, lovely correct proportions, make him look as if he is 17 hands under saddle.  He has progressed very correctly in his training.  He loves to learn new things and has already started successfully half pass, simple changes and a single flying change.  Xotogan is very steady and concentrates hard on what his rider asks.  You easily can see his great attitude by his lack of resistance in his work.  He is an extremely confident happy horse. He likes to nap in his stall every day.  There have been many times where his grooms just braid him or begin to clean him up while he sleeps, instead of making him get up.  He is a lovely horse to work with and will make his new owner very proud.  He is all business; this horse shows tremendous potential to climb the levels of dressage easily.  Xotogan is a big horse to ride and gives a big feeling.  A confident rider with a good training program will be a wining combination!  This is a super horse with a very bright future!
