About Chancela: Chancela do Vouga is a lovely, young mare with high athletic potential.
Her father is the “Isabel” stallion, Quartzo(RC), a champion stallion in
conformation classes and dressage. Quartzo was ridden by Thaisa Almeida at
the 2004 South American Dressage Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina,
where he won reserve champion. Chancela’s mother is a young and promising
mare, Vaidade do Mito, a full sister of Aveiro do Mito,
who was sold at the 2009 Collection®; and a half sister of
Xumaço do Vouga, also participating in this
year’s Collection.
Trainer´s opinion:
Chancela is an intelligent and willing mare who has progressed rapidly in
her training. She has three correct gaits, and her canter is especially
impressive. She is a young mare, ready to be shaped exactly as the rider
wishes.
